Retired Hiker’s Pitcrew

what happens when retired hiker hikes

Puzzling

When Chuck is out on a hike, I enjoy working on puzzles. I recently finished one while he was hiking in Maine during August. The puzzle was a fun challenge – not too difficult, but engaging enough to keep me entertained. We’ll be displaying it in our bathroom, where we can both enjoy it.

This puzzle was started while Chuck and Ed hiked from Harper’s Ferry to Penn Mar. Very challenging puzzle and will hang in our sitting room.

While Chuck hiked the AT in 2024, I put together a map of the Appalachian Trail gifted to me by Chuck for Christmas. The dog ended up eating one of my pieces and I didn’t end up framing the puzzle. Still enjoyable.
